Come discover the thrill of Stand Up Paddling
Stand-Up Paddleboarding, or SUP, is the fastest growing water sport in the world for good reason – it’s incredibly fun and easy to learn. OEX Point Loma's lessons are lead by our team of friendly and experienced instructors. We will provide you with the best boards and paddles to learn with as well as an instructor that is patient, friendly and professional.
The classes take place on the beautiful waters of San Diego Bay, which offer gorgeous views and local wildlife including sea birds, rays, seals, sea lions, dolphin and the beautiful San Diego skyline. We will cover all the basics you need to get going: proper stance, paddling technique, safety, equipment and more. Our introductory classes provide a fun time on the water, and a great day for all ability levels. No matter what your experience or level of fitness, you will be paddling your very first session.
OEX Group SUP Lessons*
Our group lesson is our set class schedule where you will be joining other beginner SUPer’s. The group class will cover all the basics listed above and will provide you with opportunity to make new friends.

OEX Private SUP Lessons*
Get exactly what you want from your time on the water. These 90 minute sessions can be tailored to individual needs and requests. With advanced reservation, we will do our best to accommodate your time and date preference. The day’s activities are determined by the students skill-set and interests, as well as the wind and water conditions. The private lessons are great for team building, birthday parties, family vacations, and bachelorette/bachelor parties.

Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga
Come enjoy the ancient practice of Yoga combined with Stand Up Paddle Boarding! These classes take your favorite yoga routines and put them on the water! Yoga practice brings balance and restores all bodily systems by creating physical, mental and spiritual harmony. Both yoga and stand up paddle boarding are great for building better balance, coordination, endurance, and body strength! These classes are run by one of the best women SUP athletes in the world Gillian Gibree. She is a sponsored ROXY athlete and her credentials are endless.
